With our new claim, we are not simply presenting a new slogan under our logo.

We demonstrate what we as an association stand for and how we live by this principle. Because: We want to empower children and protect them in the best possible way through exercise and prevention.

Our programs focus on the joy of movement. At the same time, we foster self-confidence, strengthen personality and self-esteem – so that children become resilient for life. Because this is also a crucial aspect of protection. Child protection requires more than good intentions. That’s why we have developed a comprehensive child protection concept and understand child protection as an ongoing responsibility for our organization. An important component of this commitment is our participation in the interactive child protection exhibition “ECHT KLASSE!” (REALLY GREAT!) by the Hänsel and Gretel Child Protection Foundation. From April 2026, the exhibition will be on display at the Gebrandenhof in Essen. It is aimed at children aged 6 to 11 and, for the first time, will also be specifically open to sports clubs and residential care facilities. In a child-friendly and interactive way, it addresses topics such as building self-confidence, recognizing personal boundaries, and preventing sexualized violence.
