Two Saturdays, 35 new students and a successful start to volunteering!
With our new basic module in the “Be Strong For Kids Goes School” project, we have laid an important foundation: Getting started with voluntary work is made easier and networking among participants is strengthened!
The focus was on key questions:
What does volunteering entail? What can I expect? What challenges might I face?
Furthermore, topics such as child protection, relationship building, and planning their own project lesson were discussed. Interactive activities allowed the students from the different schools to get to know each other better.
Imhoff Essen provided a welcome energy boost with delicious wraps.
And that was just the beginning of our school volunteer project. We continue to support our students in their volunteer work throughout the year. This includes regular exchange meetings as well as additional workshops for training and further education – among other things, in cooperation with the AOK health insurance company. And after four months, the students receive a one-year FitX membership.
The basic module was a complete success!
We look forward to another “Be Strong For Kids Goes School” year with you!
