This year, for the first time, we have the opportunity to offer a voluntary social year (FSJ) at our club. We are thrilled to welcome Clara as our first FSJ participant.

Clara has been part of Be Strong For Kids for some time now. She became aware of our organization through the school project. In addition to the school project, she has also been helping with the swimming lessons.

“I chose to do a voluntary social year because I felt incredibly comfortable at BSFK last year. The team is fantastic, and I knew I ‘d be in good hands there. Working in so many different areas, I’m sure I’ll gain a lot of valuable experience that will help me grow. I also want to give something back and help other children experience at least some of the things that were taken for granted when I was a child.” – Clara

As part of her voluntary social year (FSJ), Clara will support us with sports activities such as judo, horseback riding, and swimming. She will also help in the office and with event planning.

“We are very happy to be part of the NRW Sports Youth’s volunteer program (link) starting this year and to be able to continue to connect with young, dedicated people like Clara to learn, grow, and do good together. Regardless of age, cooperation and the belief that we can make a difference are our top priorities. Be strong for kids together – that’s the only way it works!” (Club Director, Jörn)
